The Little Engine That Could

I love this book, because it teaches you values. When my children say they can’t do something I referred them back to The Little Engine That Could.

I love this book too. Not only to encourage positive thoughts in children, but I use the quote from the book "I think I can, I think I can." to keep myself motivated in certain situations. It is funny how books from our childhood make such an impact on our lives and stay with us even as adults. Great book choice!

  2. I love your book choice. This book does get little ones to think about what they do and say. I think also that just because children are little in height, it doesn't mean that they can't explore with their minds and soar! Good book choice.

I also enjoy your picture on your blog, it is your classroom, right? The contrast of colors on your blog is pleasant to view.
