We have made it to through these eight weeks.
We all inspired each other, learn from each other, and shared the wisdom and passion. We must be proud of what we do and continue the journey of being better leaders as much as the best educators in the field. I thank you for your kindness, respect and understanding. Examining Codes of Ethics

Three ideals contained in NAEYC codes of ethics that are meaningful to me and their significance to my professional life.

NAEYC Code of Ethical Conduct

I – 1.3To recognize and respect the unique qualities, abilities, and potential of each child.

I realized that all students do not learn at the same pace and that every student is going to enter a school or facility at different levels and with different strengths and weaknesses. To recognize and respect the unique qualities and abilities of each child and strengthen them.

1-1.5— To create and maintain safe and healthy settings that foster children’s social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development and that respect their dignity and their

I-2.3
To welcome all family members and encourage them to participate in the program.

This is important to me because I am aware of the fact that children who have parents and family involved in the educational experience are usually successful in school

            Ora Smith – Director Headstart

Additional quote

"[The educator's] problem is to protect the spirit of inquiry, to keep it from becoming blase from over-excitement, wooden from routine, fossilized through dogmatic instruction or dissipated by random exercise upon trivial things."

My grandmother: Elizabeth

She was the one constant thing in my life. My grandmother taught me how to cook. She has guided me thought thick and thin. When I am down in out my grandmother always was there to put me up. I can not imagine being with out her.  No one can replace her. I love her with all my heart.  I will never forget her. I am so bless to have a loving grandmother.

A quote about children

You know the only people who are always sure about the proper way to raise children? Those who’ve never had any.”

–Bill Cosby, Fatherhood

The Little Engine That Could

I love this book, because it teaches you values. When my children say they can’t do something I referred them back to The Little Engine That Could.
